About the Car Show

This fundraising event would not be possible without the dedicated, experienced volunteers to deliver an outstanding car show event. All proceeds will go to the ALS Guardian Angels Foundation. The event is located at , It begins at 9:00 a.m. & ends at 3:00 p.m.

Most ALS related organizations are dedicated to finding a cure. Until then, ALS patients need help living. The ALS Guardian Angels Foundation is dedicated to helping patients and their families live with ALS while maintaining the best quality of life possible.

Why should you support this charity? ALS has been around for over 100 years, we've lost one of baseball's greatest players, Lou Gehrig, who this disease was named after.
Yet, here we are, still fighting it! Why should you be a part of this car show? This is one answer: To help those people with ALS and their family caregivers thrive and survive this debilitating disease. Another answer is summed up with ALSGA Car Show Ambassador, Becky Gasper, who will change your life with her amazing story about her son, Scott Pfeiffer. Scott was a father, husband, son, and friend to those in his life. He was an avid NASCAR fan, a driver agent for an ASA Challenge Series car in the Midwest, and also in NASCAR Camper World East series. He was living a dream..........Then at the age of 41 everything changed. When Scott was diagnosed, he decided they needed an ALS Race Team! That is when Racin for a Cure was born. We here at ALSGA Car Show are carrying on his legacy by putting on this car show. For the full story on Scott, watch the video at the top of this page.
